The point
Correction. the earlier article reported household probabilities that the linked script could not have emitted and paired them with a hard-coded no-change conclusion. No immutable raw receipt preserves those calls, so all earlier household probabilities, token counts, and latency remain withdrawn.
What the local run showed. v3 loads and validates the frozen fixture before requiring any credential. Its local-only mode runs the simulator and compares observed mechanics with authored expected specifications. A local PASS means only that code and fixture agree; it is not Jev output, benchmark ground truth, or an effectiveness finding.
Not run against a live service. explicit live mode can make two matched requests, reject malformed HTTP-200 typed responses, and atomically finalize a new redacted JSON receipt. No successful live/provider household execution receipt is currently admitted. A local-stub acceptance receipt is not a live result; it is synthetic artifact-acceptance evidence.
What the source found. arXiv:2610.01834v1 reports results from matrix games, ALFWorld, and robot control when predicted or simulated consequences are supplied. ArXiv:2610.01833v1 reports process-level evaluation on enterprise tasks. These results do not authenticate this household probe or establish sales effectiveness.

Three evidence classes, not one result
What the fixture specifies. the fixture authors a goal, initial state, action rules, two plans, and expected final sponge states. Plan A is specified as incomplete because it places a dirty sponge. Plan B is specified as complete because it cleans before placement. These values are not observed Jev answers or independent ground truth.
What the local run showed. local-only mode loads those exact bytes, validates their schema, runs each plan through the deterministic simulator, and compares taskComplete and final sponge state with the authored specifications. It emits deterministic PASS or FAIL and never calls the network.
Not run against a live service. only an explicit --live run can contact a configured endpoint. A future valid live/provider receipt would document one matched observation only. Repeated labeled cases and accuracy outcomes are required for an effect claim; one pair cannot establish accuracy, calibration, causal benefit, or transfer.

What v3 fixes
What the program did. v3 derives the request goal, full initial state including the container, rules, and candidate plans from the loaded fixture. The two request bodies reuse the same model and questions; the second state adds simulator-computed consequences.
What the check refuses. HTTP 200 is not enough. Before any response is printed, compared, or admitted, both responses must be valid JSON with the requested answer keys and types, a fixture-plan choice, a complete normalized choice distribution, a bounded boolean probability, equal non-empty returned-model identifiers, and a required non-null usage object preserved in full. Malformed data, a model mismatch, or a credential echo aborts without result output or a successful receipt.
What a receipt has to contain. local-stub acceptance and a future authorized provider observation use different status, executionMode, and evidenceClass values. After both responses validate and pass secret scanning, the script atomically hard-links a fully synced same-directory staging file to a new final path and never overwrites. The receipt preserves run ID and UTC bounds, endpoint origin/path, requested and returned model data, the exact fixture and its byte hash, the pre-call script hash, local assertions, exact requests, per-call status and latency, required full usage, complete parsed responses including unknown fields, raw-body hashes, frozen-oracle fields, and full comparison values. Credential-bearing request metadata is excluded.
Why the earlier household numbers stay withdrawn
Correction. the earlier script defined only achieving_plan, so it could not emit the reported task_will_succeed values. It also printed a fixed same-probability conclusion while the earlier article reported probability movement.
What cannot be backdated. corrected future code cannot authenticate an old call. No immutable historical household request-response receipt was found, so the earlier probabilities, token counts, and latency remain excluded from evidence.
Where it stands. this correction includes v3 code, fixture, offline tests, and a loopback-only stub acceptance receipt. It does not include a successful live/provider household receipt and does not claim that a provider run occurred.
What the exact papers measured
PRIMARY SOURCE RESULT — arXiv:2610.01834v1: the paper reports 33% on misleading matrix-game decisions with missing prediction, 94% when Jev's separate prediction was written into the state, and 98% when the correct action was given.
PRIMARY SOURCE RESULT — arXiv:2610.01834v1 — ALFWorld: Jev alone solved 42/134; Jev + lookahead v1 (next observation) solved 79/134; Jev + lookahead v2 (+ new commands) solved 116/134; and a Word-overlap rule + lookahead v2 with the same lookahead-v2 information solved 18/134.
PRIMARY SOURCE RESULT — arXiv:2610.01834v1: the robot condition Raw torques, no simulation scored 0/20, versus Skills simulated by code at 9/20 on the native task.
PRIMARY SOURCE RESULT — arXiv:2610.01833v1: the paper reports 240 trials; 162 of 175 (92.6%) outcome-correct trials had at least one additional evaluator-detected deviation. The semantic judge identifier was claude-sonnet-4-6.
PRIMARY SOURCE RESULT WITH CAVEAT — arXiv:2610.01833v1: the paper reports mean 6.34 failed checks and mean 2.65 proposed root failures per run. This is graph-based descriptive compression; root labels were not independently validated as causal explanations.
What this does not establish. these source-reported paper results do not validate the synthetic household artifact and do not establish sales effectiveness. They remain limited to the exact papers' protocols.
What each admitted source can support
| Evidence | Supports | Does not support |
|---|---|---|
| arXiv:2610.01834v1 | Its matrix, ALFWorld, and robot-control results | A household or sales effect |
| arXiv:2610.01833v1 | Its enterprise process-evaluation results | A Jev household result or causal root proof |
| v3 local-only output | Agreement between simulator output and authored specs | Jev effectiveness, accuracy, or calibration |
| Future v3 live receipt | One preserved matched response pair | A causal or production conclusion |
Ernesta Labs interpretation
Our reading. code can compute deterministic transitions and a typed judge can evaluate supplied state. That division can improve traceability, but it does not prove that additional consequence context causes better decisions.
The evidence rule. a valid receipt would preserve one observation. Testing an effect requires repeated labeled cases, a frozen protocol, accuracy outcomes, and analysis of failures, not probability movement alone.
INTERNAL STATUS — NOT PAPER-SUPPORTED: Article 43 remains EVALUATING. Any claim about NIKO execution status requires separate dated operational evidence; neither paper can prove a project-local negative.
Experiment Zero
PROPOSED TEST: NIKO is only a possible future decision family here. Waitlist signups, sends, replies, and sales are not measures of Jev usefulness. This article reports no NIKO production comparison and treats that status as an internal statement, not a paper result.
Run locally first; preserve live evidence separately
What to run locally. run `node jev-household-example-v3.mjs --local-only`. Inspect the deterministic PASS or FAIL comparison. PASS means only that simulator observations match the fixture's authored specifications. Run the offline regression suite with `node --test jev-household-example-v3.test.mjs`; its live-path checks use only a loopback fake server.
PROPOSED LIVE STEP — NOT RUN HERE: a separately authorized provider run must use a new path and explicit mode: `AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY=... node jev-household-example-v3.mjs --live --execution-mode authorized-live --receipt ./jev-household-live-receipt-v3.json`. The script validates and hashes the fixture, runs local assertions, and hashes its own bytes before requests. It preflights an existing path and atomically finalizes only after both responses validate; it never overwrites.
What has to be true before a result counts. verify that both full typed responses, exact request bodies, UTC times, model, usage, latency, and script and fixture SHA-256 values are present, and that no credential appears. Only then may the returned values be described as one observed matched pair.
What remains unknown
- UNKNOWN: what a successful live v3 household pair will return; no live v3 receipt is included or claimed.
- UNKNOWN: whether computed consequence context improves choice accuracy over a repeated, frozen, labeled household decision set.
- UNKNOWN: whether Jev probabilities are calibrated for this or any other decision family evaluated here.
- UNKNOWN: whether consequence-aware context improves a production agent without increasing unnecessary deferrals, latency, or cost.
